Here is just one of many great projects for making over your exsisting artwork on a tight budget. The simple tape and paint is my favorite. My DIY video will be making an appearance shortly.

Feature on Apartment Therapy
Posted by
Danielle
Once again, I am amazed at the power of Twitter. I recently tweeted to Flor (@FLOR_ ) that I am now using a sample carpet tile as my mouse and they were kind enough to retweet my message. From their retweet Apartment Therapy (@Apttherapy) posted it on their blog and twitter.
I LOVE IT! Twitter is very powerful. P.S. This is the best mousepad I have ever had.

Step 1: Cut base and fabric to the same desired size and use your spray adhesive to bind the two together.
Step 2: Layer a thin coat of mod podge evenly across the top of your fabric. Let dry (15-20 minutes) and repeat.
That's it. So simple. I like to show you great projects that involve very little effort. You may now reward yourself for completing a project!

This was my first attempt at building an ottoman from scratch. I am so proud of how it turned out. Since I was making it up on the spot I don't have great narrative instructions but next time I will detail out the step-by-step. I did take photos of the process that visually explains what I did.
Items Needed:
Wood (saw to cut wood or have wood cut at hardware store)
Wood Screws
Wood Glue
Foam (cut to size)
Fabric
Spray Adhesive
Sewing Machine
Measuring Tape

Tune in to the Morning Show with Decorella

I was so honored and touched when Moria Kay from WBIR reached out to me and asked me to be on the Fox Morning Show. I think my first instinct was to plan my outfit, then what segment I should do. I have now done two segments and can't wait to do more. The videos from each segment are posted online if you didn't catch them when they aired.
